Páramos is the second FEF release by Chilean synthesist Claudio Cisterna, capturing the development of the self-styled "baroque ambient" sound of 2014's Dymensu. The verdant alpine environment suggested by the title matches the music's crystalline, gently evolving melodies and rich, transparent timbres, which is given a fitting visual interpretation by Graeme Swinton's cover art.
