Lukanto

Lukanto is a peculiar duo of voice and synthesizer formed by two members of the Warsaw improvisation scene: Antonina Nowacka (WIDT, kIRk) and Łukasz Kacperczyk (Cukier, Buchons d’Oreilles, Paper Cuts, Modular String Trio, Śmierć i łzy). This human / machine confrontation is delivered with directness and presence yet feels abstract and futuristic, with piercing tones and raw textures emerging from the tension between free improvisation and self-discipline.
