This is the second FEF release from Austin, Texas resident Ovis Aurum, also one half of Boa (with BAT) and Ixtab (with Blood Room). As on its predecessor Nocturnal Pools, spacious sample / synth arrangements suggest introverted explorations of deserted spaces, this time descending into more downtempo and ambient territory. Moods range from the reptilian dispassion of Dendroaspis, to the ominous perambulation of Above & Around, and the radiant clarity of Cursa.
