Moonrise

Greg Dowling and Shane Johnson return to their own Go Deep Recordings label with a pair of sleek late night dancefloor tracks. Moonrise builds on a dubby bass foundation to create a driving raw house groove, a wave of gritty electronics ebbing and flowing throughout. Always with the Blues steers a different course, blending a melancholy spoken vocal with ghostly sampled pianos, layered chords and a rising synth line.
