I was deliriously delighted to be asked by First Earth Records to DJ (that's my job) their bi-annual river solstice dance cruise which saw seven hardy souls and seven daughters of seven sons party the dawn away on the Official First Earth Amphibious Assault Vehicle down the River Liffey as the darkness got really dark before the DAWN... and we arrived barefoot... having forgotten we would need shoes... upon the glistening Poulaphaca Reservoir... and thus asking kindly the Púca if we could burn our effigy of the Wicker Banker Man... to usher in the longest day... he said 'ok, if you brought your own matches' and here it is... time for bed.
