The album Bleak is the first release for Finbarr Dillon in 2017. The album is an electroacoustic, Acousmatic, electronica work. The recording covers everything from a piece composed on “Protein Sequences”, which is just another name for music which uses a DNA sequence as it compositional basis. To an ode to Violet Gibson, the third and most successful assassination attempt on Mussolini in 1926, by a sweet, middle aged, old Irish woman.
