Eyes Set Recs presents IDENTITY CRISiiS, the debut EP from RISTO. 'ONLY ONE' opens the A side with a kick and bassline that works its way into your chest with every pump. An incoherent vocal keeps asking 'anybody... home, anybody..?' until the bass and the voice both drop out and expose what's actually being said underneath: 'I'm the only one.' The thought everyone's had at 4am convinced they're the only one coming to save themselves. From there the leads take over, kicking the vocal to the back, running on pure aggression and agency, before a higher lead pulls the voice back in at the peak, intrusive thought and emotion running the track until it burns out.
