Tribute to guitarist Greg Boland

Stagalee started recording ‘Save Me’ as a potential promo single for a follow up tour to the band’s 2018 reunion. The tour never happened as Greg passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in August 2018 during the reunion shows. In the shock and grief that followed his passing the backing tracks were forgotten until 2023 They re-surfaced when engineer Jimmy Dunne discovered them whilst re-organising his studio. He contacted me and sent me the files, along with the poignant note that Greg had recorded his solo just hours before he passed away. I recorded the missing vocal tracks and the band decided to put out the track as a tribute to Greg.
