Completed over a number of years, when occasional opportunities arose amid the responsibilities of parenthood and day job, the material on “The Broken Path” was built on top of some initial improvisation sessions recorded in 2018. It combines elements of drone, folk, blues, traditional Irish music, field recordings of nature and public transport.
