“Home” is comprised of three tracks by Irish producer Dote. Each track is constructed from a mix of field recordings manipulated and altered through the brain of Ableton live. The recordings were made over a one year period from August 2017 - 18 between Argentina and Ireland. Each track is unique to the place where the source samples were recorded. Each piece attempts to capture the significance of that location to the producer. “Home” is an exercise in the idea that a piece of music can hold the essence of a place and precise moment in time.
