Solo Series I All music by Simon Jermyn except Hymni, which is based on a Finnish hymn. "This is a solo project featuring Simon Jermyn on basses & guitars. Irish bassist & composer Simon Jermyn is one persistent dude. He forced me (at gunpoint no less) to listen to an earlier trio CD of his and I was sure glad he did. Simon has worked with the great Belgian reeds wiz Joachim Badenhorst as well as with Ryan Blotnick (CD on Songlines). Here Simon has put together an auspicious solo effort for basses & guitars, adding layers of each and turning them into a unique blend.
