Barking Like a Dove

The passage of time - journeys large and small - the mysteries of life. Just trying to make sense of it all, as usual. And grateful to have the chance. As the process went on - taking a lot longer than I imagined - a more plaintive mood gradually emerged. A towpath follows the River Lagan through south Belfast and beyond. Its gifts are hard to describe but without fail it drops them quietly at my feet. There are grander landscapes, but this place lets me see things in new colours. It always has.
