Two long ambient pieces, inspired by an old photograph of Daniel Prendiville's children, taken in the 1990s. "Chéad" is Gaelic for "first", while "Dara" is Gaelic for "second", so you can see what is happening here... Both tracks were composed in March 2023 in a burst of activity on Daniel's part (always a bad idea...), but when the album was being prepared for release, it was found that neither track had actually been mastered "properly", so in another burst of activity, both tracks had to be completed in a state of panic. Phew, rock'n'roll, eh?
