Excerpts From "100 Pieces" (music & PDF)

"100 Pieces" was the title of a book of poetry I proposed to write and publish online. It was an ambitious plan and one which I started to implement with great enthusiasm. Over a period of three days in August 2018, I "cranked out", for want of a better description, 12 short pieces of blank verse, dealing with a variety of mundane, but nonetheless personally significant, issues. I was pleased with my progress and felt confident that I would continue working like that until I had all 100 "pieces" completed. Then it would be a small matter of publishing the material online, with international acclaim almost certain to follow. Yeah, right...
