FULL VHS VIDEO: youtu.be/O8MEGjAJwmU ‘Signal Lost…’ is an Audio / Visual installation consisting of remixing old, obsolete technology into small music videos that focus on a particular theme of Television, Cellular Mobile Phones and the dawn of Dial-up Internet to simulate a doomsday scenario of a total technological cut off from the world. On the 20th June 2000, The BBC suffered a major power cut in their main Television Centre in West London that affected the main TV and Radio services that were being transmitted from - creating a down time that was extremely long. I believed this was as close to an apocalyptic situation the modern world had ever experienced.
