under lake shore and at the lakeshore’s field recordings were both recorded on march 24, 2020 at lakeshore drive at berwyn and just north of foster beach at the lakefront, chicago, respectively. the music was recorded in june and july of 2020. mark twain cave’s field recording was recorded at the mark twain cave in hannibal, mo, march 29, 2018 by barbara diener. the piece was composed to accompany a video of her’s called room 2. which was first installed at the university of wisconsin’s lawton gallery, green bay, wi in september 2018. the music was composed and recorded from april-august of 2018.
