Abasement Through Reverence

'Abasement Through Reverence,' is Skellig's second full length release. The minimalist, haunting, ambient sludge isolationism of 2024's release 'Resonance of Our Dolmen,' has been developed even further into an unremitting, unrepenting tide of distorted sludged out atmospherics. This caustic, secular expression of freedom through nihilism is a cacophonous release from reality. It's a purpose built construction of hermeticism within one's own thought patterns and processes of how faith is a derivative from our fear of the unknown, the unwavering want to live and is a pillared beacon of ignorance in a life where anything you don't understand is attributed to what you worship.
