Take The Turn

The album Take The Turn is an accidental album. When a studio cancelled last minute to record what was then our first two songs Panda and Lifemare, we used the time instead to home-record them, more as a way of remembering them than anything else. Armed with a very basic understanding of technology, production and a bric-a-brac toolbox to match, we set about recording these songs ourselves in feverish weekends of drunken fun whenever geography allowed. The other songs trickled in, and gradually a nest of demos were laid. Over time, as experience behind the mixing and production tools deepened, the demos were again brooded upon until fully fledged songs were hatched.
