KFU(RN)

Colm K returns to Tiff’s Joints for his second release on the label with four formidable club cuts in the form of KFU(RN). Following on from 2017’s Beginnings/Six Four Hundred, the Cork native takes a tougher approach on KFU(RN) with his sights set squarely on the centre of the dance floor. “Lady” kicks things off with a delicately flipped piano and vocal part, which sits in contrast atop an unforgiving kick and endlessly skipping percussion. Taking a darker turn on “Apart”, an eerie arpeggio darts between belly shacking bass and fizzy synths.
