SEED

Seed is the second solo Album from Kildare based singer-songwriter, Col Patterson. It features 11 songs and was recorded at Jam Studios, Co Meath, with Col’s longtime collaborator, Martin Quinn. There is a real mix of styles from pop rock in ‘Break the Machine’ to synth-pop in ‘Online Adventure’ and gentler heartfelt tracks such as ‘Upside’ and ‘Heart Listens Out’. The title track ‘Seed’ deals with trying to find a place of mental stability in a damaged world, growing and learning from mistakes. ‘Break The Machine’ is a song of frustration and anger at the status quo in world affairs. ‘Upside’ imagines a journey up a cold snowy mountain on a quest to find a place of love.
