Overview Effect

Circuit3 (Dublin’s Peter Fitzpatrick) revealed that Technology For The Youth - his third album - will be entering our orbit this summer. The second single from the album, Overview Effect, gives us another scintillating taste of the LP, as well as a glimpse into the creative impulses behind Circuit3’s distinctive blend of retro-futurist pop music. Overview Effect was one of the first tracks written for the new album. During a livestream improvision using multiple synthesizers in his home studio, Peter instantly hit ‘record’ and ‘save’ upon realising there was a story to be told from this seemingly trivial afternoon of synth noodling.
