The Far Field is a magical collection of music and song produced by Ceol Connected's Dr Thomas Johnston, created with pristine production values, evocative soundscapes and a roll-call of high calibre musicians, namely Seán McElwain (guitar), Shane Greene (keyboard), and Stephen Markham (sound design). Amongst the familiar and perhaps not-so-famliar fairy-related tunes on this album is an expertly crafted body of songs which combine the clever use of repetition, action words and playful onomatopoeia & alliteration.
