Recorded Nov 2016 in the beautiful Wilton's Music Hall, the oldest music hall in the world in East London, a magical venue. My mother is French and Father is Irish and both love Brel's incredible music, we used to love taking all his records out and playing them when were little. it was as an architect student before I qualified i performed in Jacques Brel is alive and well and living in Paris, it reawakened my love for his songs. They were like poems set to music with all these different characters, it felt these were songs you could inhabit, become vulnerable, fierce, express your emotions and be true...songs of love death, sex, loss
