I was on tour in the USA some years back and met up with John Two-Hawks, a Lakota Native American. We were actually introduced by a music-business guy who said we should get together because he thought the tone of my Irish Boxwood Flute sounded of similar character to John's Cedar Flute. So we got together and created 14 original songs of a Celtic / Native American mixture. We called the album 'Traditions'. Listening to it now, it sounds as fresh and original as back then.
