When I collaborated with Mick Lacey and Jerry Lewins, two singer/songwriters in my local town of Wicklow, Ireland, we wanted to produce an album of crossover music - Trad. Irish/Folk/Alternative/Native American. A collection of songs and instrumental pieces that was relaxing and easy to listen to, but 'with a kick!'. Mick and Jerry were involved in the building trade. This would be our first, our 'Alpha' album. So we chizelled the logo into the artwork and called it 'Set in Stone'. Very apt! I've travelled the world with this music, often performing my favourite tracks solo - Grassroot Serenade, Bluesleeves and Window Shoppers - with Mick and Jerry playing on the backing tracks.
