Journey of the Robin

First released as a Cassette Tape in 1992, Journey of the Robin quickly became a much-loved musical fantasy, a relaxing, inspiring combination of nature sound recordings and original music by Seamus Byrne. 8 years later, in 2000, the work was incorporated into the CD Beautiful World (tracks 6 thro' 13) but without the nature sound track 'Ambient Fantasia'. In 2017, due to demand for the original production, Journey of the Robin was released as a CD, its artwork honouring the design from the original Cassette Tape. A production at once innocent, entertaining and fascinating, we hope you enjoy this delightful programme, as many listeners have over the years.
