At the age of 17 Ben Reel formed his first band at Crossmaglen high school in the year of 1989. Surrounded by a heavy fortified British army military presence - Rock ‘n’ roll was an escape and a way out for 4 young aspiring teenagers who grew up In the midst of the troubles in South Armagh knowing only war as their normality. After the break up of his band ‘Promised Land’ in 1996 Ben released his debut solo album in 1999 ‘This is the movie’. Here it is in all its glory remastered for the 25th anniversary and sounding better than ever.
