Aos Sí (eːsˠ ˈʃiːə)

"Aos sí" was recorded in December 2021 Lee and Mick decided to write and produce something on the eve of the tenth anniversary of AOC, as 2022 marks this. The track developed quickly and organically as musical ideas, audio files were shared over the internet. The results are a deep and somewhat psychedelic/other dimensional aesthetic with sprawling analogue morphing synths, pulsating sonic forms and haunting tones that suggest a reflection of an ancient mythology transcribed through modern music creation techniques and technology. "Aos sí" is the Irish name for a supernatural race in Celtic mythology – spelled sìth by the Scots, but pronounced the same – comparable to fairies or elves.
