ELECTRIC BLUE

When both of my boys were being born, I recorded discreetly their first breaths and first screams along with the surrounding environment ... all those medical machines with their electromagnetic imprints, all that beeping and heartbeat throbbing, hum and fuzz inside and out of the maternity hospital. First I thought to create a small piece for each baby, to welcome them here, to this strange dimension, to life - but somehow these sounds were too close to the bone; I was not able to compose with "it" without being influenced by my extremely personal experience. So I left the idea to ripen. And here it is ...
