Anemoia

"Cork based producer Artemon is set to release his debut E.P. on August 28, 2020. ‘Anemoia’ is a five-track release marked by a palette of musical elements that aptly reflect its title. Dense, euphoric synth lines and lo-fi breakbeat / drum work are purposely arranged to invoke the kind of liminal yearning we associate with a sense of distant, hazy nostalgia. There is the presence of a unidirectional type of ambience seeking to gradually draw the listener deeper in to the vortex of what is a gracious nod to the utopian ideologies of 1990’s rave culture.
