'Playing The Radio' (2007)

'Playing the Radio' was an immersive sound art installation and interactive performance by O'Brien that invited spontaneous participation, at 'Vacant' (Group Show), Limerick, Ireland, 2007, curated by Aideen Barry. Words from the curator (2007): "O'Brien plays with the 'found sound' as 'found object' as a musical instrument, warping it to his own composition." Words from the artist (2007): "I am concerned with the role of the artist in society and the relationship between artists and 'non artists'.
