Trapped (In the Dream of the Other)

Cathexis Records begins the new year with its first release by APS. Trapped (In the Dream of the Other) presents five tracks that combine the sonic elements of dub techno with minimal percussive grooves to powerfully drive the body on the dance floor. Each track derives its grooves by exploring the ways that we remain unknown to ourselves. A self that we encounter and are confronted by in the dark, with sweaty bodies pulsing in time to the beat. Together the EP is both heady and carnal, reaching for techno at its best.
