Mullach a' tSí is a traditional duet album on the fiddle and concertina by Liam Lonergan and Aoife Nic Dhomhnaill. The album is largely unaccompanied, with the occasional track with sean-nós dancing from Caoimhe Ní Mhaolagáin. The distant yet ever-present lure of the fairy realm and the boundary between the seen and the unseen is a theme which is reflected throughout the album. The selection of tunes and airs is steeped in folklore, from the echoes of long-past tragedies to the haunting laments of Ulster chieftains and ancient battles between the Milesians and Tuatha Dé Danann.
