Inspired Conflicts

The album became a passion project due to the duo's chance meeting. That meeting was based on trying to start a cover band. The conflict being that Kevin never wanted to play cover songs, and Darren had never been in a position to consider writing and playing original songs. This conflict became the inspiration for Alpine Skies, and with that, their debut album, “Inspired Conflicts”. These themes of conflict and inspiration carry through into the lyrical content of the album. With songs that are shaped by both the internal and external struggles (conflicts) that help shape and guide (inspiration) relationships and life.
