Alan’s song-writing has always been extremely intimate and personal, and Mountain Common continues in that vein, giving a remarkable insight into his inner-most thoughts and emotions. ‘My music is a timestamp of my life,’ he explains, ‘and this album is a diary entry addressing events in my life and in the world over the last few years.
