Originally recorded in a studio in Dublin in 1991, with my cousin Sylvia Byrne playing ‘live’ keyboards, I wanted a bright jazz/pop arrangement, a mix between Mel Torme and Sarah Vaughan, with a Parisian accordion/piano bar intro and arrangement flourish, leading to a jazz combo style. So certainly a 1950s era production.
