''Parallel Futures'' serves as Yurtis Mayfield's debut Techno outing on Faoi Thalamh Records. This EP serves up 3 sci-fi infused Techno tracks, with Yurtis taking inspiration from Detroit legends such as Jeff Mills, Robert Hood and Alan Oldham. Each track is intended to serve as a dystopian mirror, ruminating on what potential futures lie ahead in the wake of today's rapidly advancing technologies; Abrasive, fast-paced percussive elements combined with gritty modular bleeps paint a picture of a future where everything that can be automated, has been automated.
