Irish Saxophonist and Rapper Adam Nolan (17 albums) first came into contact with Bassist and Guitarist Brian Kastan (60 albums) after releasing his critically acclaimed album "Prim and Primal" in 2021. It was American writer Dick Metcalf from Contemporary Fusion Reviews articles who wrote how he'd love to hear the two musicians play together. Since then the two have been conversing ideas, and in August 2023, the two came together to record in New York at Brian's Photography Gallery and Recording Studio in Hudson Valley. Looking for a Drummer with a wild energy, technique and a free jazz root, Brian suggested hot on the NYC free jazz scene James Paul Nadien to the group. He fit perfectly.
