A quartet of sepulchral offerings for Manchester’s very own Isle of the Dead: ‘In this heretic reconfiguration of the myth, the Island’s northern banks are bounded by the River Irwell, while the Rochdale Canal forms its southerly perimeter, the two waterways converging, momentarily, in the labyrinth of channels and basins near the old Hulme Locks.
